We are seeking a Project Manager for Waste-to-Energy (WTE) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the execution of projects related to waste management, including construction, commissioning, and operation of waste-to-energy facilities. The role requires managing project timelines, resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and scope.
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for Waste-to-Energy (WTE) projects.
Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and handover.
Team Management:
Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor team performance, providing guidance and support as necessary.
Construction & Erection:
Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
Provide regular updates to senior management and clients regarding project status, challenges, and milestones.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Proactively resolve project-related issues and conflicts that may arise during execution.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure the project meets technical, safety, and environmental standards.
Cost & Budget Management:
Monitor project costs, ensuring that the project is completed within the allocated budget.
Track project expenses and ensure efficient resource utilization.
Education:
BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institution.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in project execution, project management, construction, or erection at site in a process industry, preferably related to Solid Waste Management or similar fields.
Technical Skills:
Strong project management skills, including familiarity with project planning tools and techniques.
Excellent knowledge of engineering design, construction practices, and process management in the waste-to-energy domain.
Familiarity with safety regulations, quality control, and environmental compliance in project execution.
Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, or other project management software.
