Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- KNOWLEDGE ON AS9100 IS MANDATORY.
- KNOWLEDGE ON SHEET METAL/CNC MACHINING REQUIRED.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILL IS A MUST.
- SHOULD HAVE CONDUCTED INTERNAL QUALITY AUDITS.
- EXPERIENCE IN THE ROLE OF MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE (MR) WOULD BE ADDED ADVANTAGE.
- Quality Management System (QMS):
- Implement, maintain, and improve the QMS in accordance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure effective documentation, reporting, and control of all quality processes.
- Audits & Compliance:
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
- Ensure compliance with national and international aerospace regulations, industry standards, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Lead corrective actions and ensure effective closure of audit findings.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Oversee supplier quality performance and collaborate with the supply chain to ensure suppliers meet company and industry quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments and develop improvement strategies where necessary.
- Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement (CI):
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce defects, and enhance efficiency.
- Utilize quality tools such as Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and root cause analysis to drive improvement.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor the quality team, ensuring skill development and alignment with company goals.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability across all departments.
- Customer Interaction:
- Work directly with customers to address quality concerns, corrective actions, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Manage non-conformances and customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Reporting & Metrics:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality performance and prepare reports for senior management.
