Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The selected candidates will be deployed to the Electrical Maintenance Division for maintaining design, estimation, execution, troubleshooting of following for the area associated with academic, residential, hostels etc

a. Refrigeration and air-conditioning

b. HVAC and chiller plant operation

c. HAVAC automation

d. Piping and Plumbing

Desirable : Working knowledge of Computer Applications, AutoCAD and Engineering drawings

Preferred candidate profile

B.Tech. / B.E. or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering/ AC Engineering with relevant experience of one year after the degree. Applicants with integrated M.Tech/ M.E degree in Mechanical Engineering/ AC Engineering will also be eligible.

OR

3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience of six years after the diploma.

Pay Level 6 (35400-112400)

(Gross Pay includes Basic Pay + Dearness allowance + House Rent Allowance + Transport Allowance + Dearness allowance on Transport allowance)

Initial appointment on a 3-year contract at Pay Level 6 (35400-112400) as per provision of Recruitment Rules and Promotion Policy of the Institute. Subsequent substantive appointment at Pay Level 7 (44900 - 142400) by placement.

Age limit: 32 years (as on the application closing date) with applicable age relaxations.
