- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role. Experience in Android or Web Development Preferred qualifications: Experience managing a team of Software Engineers. Programming experience in Java and/or Kotlin. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users. Responsibilities Work with Engineering Product Managers, and User Experience across Play and WearOS. Lead and manage a growing team of full stack Software Engineers. Build out capabilities needed for WearOSs unique ecosystem needs, including associated cross form factor features on phones. Deliver a premium next-gen app storefront for WearOS. ,
