About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to support business applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services (VMs, storage, networking, Azure AD, etc.)
• Implement and manage IaaS and PaaS solutions in Azure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.
• Monitor system performance, and optimize costs using Azure Monitor and Cost Management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for seamless CI/CD integration.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security policies.
• Stay up-to-date with Azure services and recommend improvements as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, and Azure AD.
• Hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VNet, NSG, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics.
• Knowledge of security best practices and Azure governance tools.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) are a strong plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with container services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and on-prem integrations.
