Basic Information

Job Purpose
The role involves managing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of company applications and services. It includes developing and implementing automation solutions using PowerShell scripting to streamline Azure-related tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain Azure resources, and providing technical expertise and support for Azure services to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and configure Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
- Implement and manage Entra ID services including user management, policies, and single sign-on.
- Design and implement Azure security measures such as network security groups, firewall rules, and encryption mechanisms.
- Monitor Azure infrastructure and services for performance, availability, and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating routine Azure tasks such as resource deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Handle and monitor cybersecurity controls as per company IS and compliance policy.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in Azure environments.
- Evaluate and recommend Azure services and solutions to meet business requirements and performance objectives.
- Report security incidents and weaknesses observed immediately to the IS Manager.
- Follow client mandates, controls, and practices.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on Azure best practices and tools.
- Internal: Participation in clients audits, 3rd party certification body audits, and internal audits; interacting for IT procurement and invoice processing.
External: Ticket management and follow-through with external technology vendors.
Key Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate.
