Job Description:


What does a successful Change Champion do?

  • Leads the Change Management process, ensuring alignment with ITSM best practices.
  • Manages the change lifecycle, from initiation to implementation, while minimizing disruption to services.
  • Collaborates with the Change Review Board, Technical Review Board, and Operations Review Board to evaluate and approve change requests.
  • Monitors and reports on change-related metrics and KPIs, driving continuous improvement in change processes.
  • Serves as a champion for change initiatives, promoting a culture of adaptability and responsiveness within the organization.
  • Facilitates communication among stakeholders regarding change impacts, timelines, and benefits.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of IT changes to optimize service delivery.
  • Develop and implement Change Management strategies and methodologies to enhance process effectiveness.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and adherence to Change Management policies and procedures.
  • Use ServiceNow as the primary ticketing tool for tracking and managing change requests.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to elevate Change Management awareness across teams.
  • Analyze change management processes and deliver insights using Power BI to support data-driven decisions.
  • Embrace emerging technologies (AI, ML) to enhance change management practices and automate workflows.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), with a strong focus on Change Management.
  • Proven experience with Change Review Board, Technical Review Board, and Operations Review Board processes.
  • Proficiency in using ServiceNow as a ticketing tool for managing change requests.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

What would be great to have:

  • Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Power BI.
  • Familiarity with AI and ML applications within ITSM and Change Management.
  • Scripting skills in Python to automate change-related tasks.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk for analyzing impacts on service performance.
