Job description:
Experienced Senior Data Engineer/Analyst with a strong foundation in SQL and a deep understanding of banking regulatory requirements. Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems for ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Skills: (Mandatory)
- Data Analysis/Business Data Analyst/Technical Business Analyst
- Data Engineering (Data Governance(Collibra), Data Profiling, Data Modelling, Data Visualization)
- Data Warehouse
- Expertise in SQL (Basic to advance; Lag-Lead functions)
- ETL (Informatica Power Center)
- Banking Domain Experience
- Banking Regulatory Compliance like Basel, BCBS, PSD2, etc.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership
Roles and Responsibilities required:
- Led the design and implementation of data pipelines for aggregating and processing sensitive banking data.
- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, improving data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and compliance officers to ensure data quality and integrity in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
- Implement data governance practices, including data lineage tracking and metadata management, contributing to improved transparency and auditability.
- Must be able to solve "Business Problems" related to the banking customers [In terms of non-technical scenario].
- Play a pivotal role in migrating on-premises data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to implement robust data validation processes.
- Design and maintain data models for reporting and analytics, facilitating faster insights and decision-making for business stakeholders.
- Automate data quality checks and monitoring processes, improving data reliability, and proactively identifying issues before they impact business operations.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring data solutions meet the needs of various departments.
