Key Responsibilities: 1. Store Operations Management: o Oversee daily store activities and ensure smooth operations. o Manage inventory, track product levels, and place reorders as needed. o Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times. o Maintain compliance with store policies, procedures, and legal regulations. o Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. 2. Sales and Customer Service: o Achieve store sales targets and encourage a customer-centric approach. o Provide training and ongoing support to sales staff to ensure high levels of customer service. o Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. o Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and marketing campaigns to boost store performance. 3. Staff Management: o Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance. o Schedule and oversee work shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. o Motivate and inspire staff to meet or exceed sales goals and provide excellent customer service. o Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to employees. 4. Financial Management: o Manage the stores budget, including expenses related to inventory, payroll, and marketing. o Track daily sales and report financial performance to upper management. o Ensure proper handling of cash, credit transactions, and store funds. o Control stock levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover and reduce excess stock. 5. Inventory Management: o Ensure the store is well-stocked with a diverse and appealing selection of jewelry. o Track and manage product sales and stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts. o Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing, and handle purchasing and stock orders. 6. Visual Merchandising: o Oversee product displays, ensuring they are attractive, organized, and reflect current trends and promotions. o Regularly update displays and store layouts to keep the shopping environment fresh and engaging. 7. Compliance & Security: o Ensure all security protocols are followed, including the proper handling of valuable merchandise. o Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Skills & Qualifications: Education & Experience: o High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred. o Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in retail management, preferably in jewelry or luxury goods. o Previous experience in a leadership role within a retail setting. Skills: o Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills. o Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage difficult situations. o In-depth knowledge of jewelry products, trends, and industry standards. o Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and achieve financial targets. o Excellent organizational and time management skills. o Strong verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software
