Full time | Work From Office This Position is Filled Department / Category: MECHNICAL Listed on Dec 04, 2023 Work Location: CHENNAI Job Descritpion of Electrical HV - LV System Engineer 8 to 12 Years Relevant Experience Good working knowledge in HVAC Substation and on MV- LV switchgears . Excellent understanding of substation schematics , arrangements, layouts, earthing schemes , control and protections schemes. Hands on experience in Cabling philosophy, Cable sizing , cable scheduling , race way , BOQ preparation , selection of electrical components. Hands on experience with designing of LV Power boards, Control & protection scheme, load schedule , supply capacity assessment , storage assessment. Verification of drawings , datasheet, vendor drawings, interface drawings and adapt according to project specific requirements. Experience of assisting in preparing project proposals , project documentations and project reports Experience in site coordination activities for substation projects. Interaction with customer site team and internal engineering teams. Good experience working with multidisciplinary teams for project execution. Suggesting changes and improvement in existing procedures Proficiency in tools like ETAP, DIGSILENT , MATLAB , PSCAD, Easypower Strong understanding of engineering standards such as IEC , IEEE , UL and European grid standards. Good communication and documentation skills in English. Experience in construction, testing and commissioning of HVDC & HVAC substation projects.
