Job Description

Were looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in MySQL and/or PostgreSQL to join our team at Hirazo. If youre someone who takes ownership of database performance, reliability, and securityand thrives in production-critical environmentswed love to hear from you. In this role, youll be responsible for managing, optimizing, and ensuring the health of our database systems. Youll work closely with developers, contribute to architecture decisions, and implement best practices around availability, automation, and scalability. Key Responsibilities Monitor and optimize database performance, query throughput, and resource usage Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues proactively Support application development through schema design, code review, and query tuning Collaborate with developers to improve applicationdatabase integration Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention Mentor team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing Who Were Looking For 57 years of hands-on experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL Strong command of SQL and deep understanding of performance tuning Experience with replication, clustering, and database security best practices Comfortable working in cloud and production environments Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and guide others when needed Send your profile to: hidden_email,
