Sr UX Designer:
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior UI/UX Designer. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in collaborating with Product, Engineering teams to create intuitive user experiences and interfaces. Your day-to-day activities will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, redesigning existing products, and leading future efforts to enhance the overall user experience.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to understand user requirements, business goals, and technical constraints, and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Conduct user research, and usability testing, and analyse user feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on user interface designs.
- Apply best practices in UI/UX design to ensure consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across different platforms and devices.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to implement and validate UI designs, providing guidance and support during the development process.
- Lead the redesign efforts of existing products or features, leveraging user insights and industry trends to enhance the user experience and interface.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design patterns, and recommend innovative approaches and solutions to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other designers, providing feedback, guidance, and mentorship to foster a collaborative and innovative design culture.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement in our products user experience.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and educate cross-functional teams on the importance of UX in delivering exceptional products.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the seamless implementation of UI designs, addressing any technical challenges or considerations.
- Take ownership of design projects, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality designs within deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying user feedback to improve designs.
- Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and colour theory.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on UI design.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Leadership experience or the ability to lead and mentor junior designers is preferred.
