Job Title: Power BI Developer

Job Location: Work From Home

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that support regulatory, risk, and business reporting in a banking environment. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into data visualizations, ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization

Mandatory skills

• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M language ), and data modeling
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and validation from various banking systems
• Experience in creating complex visuals, interactive reports, and KPI dashboards
• Knowledge of report performance optimization, including measures, filters, and query folding
• Ability to connect to on-premise and cloud data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure, Excel)
• Desired Skills
• Familiarity with Power BI Service, workspace management, and data refresh scheduling
• Experience in banking domain dashboards (e.g., Retail, Risk, Compliance, AML)
• Exposure to Informatica, Azure Synapse, or other data integration tools
• Basic understanding of data governance principles and integration with metadata/catalog systems

  Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for business, risk, and compliance reporting
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data visualizations
  • Ensure data validation, accuracy, and consistency across dashboards and source systems
  • Perform data transformations and modeling in Power BI to support reporting logic
  • Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to align with enterprise data definitions
  • Support end-user adoption, including training and documentation of reports
