Job Title: Civil Engineer Hospital Projects
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and diligent Civil Engineer to support infrastructure and facility-related operations across our hospital projects. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in healthcare or hospital environments and be capable of managing day-to-day field verification, material tracking, and documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manpower Verification:
- Conduct site inspections three times daily to verify on-ground manpower presence.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and ensure availability aligns with project schedules.
2. Material Verification & Documentation:
- Monitor and verify all material inward/outward entries at the hospital site.
- Cross-check all deliveries with invoices/receipts to ensure correctness in quantity and specification.
- Confirm materials meet hospital-grade standards and requirements.
3. Work Certification for Outsourced Jobs:
- Verify completed work against drawings and physical measurements.
- Process contractor/vendor invoices based on approved quantities and quality standards.
- In cases where physical verification is not feasible (e.g., ceiling works, embedded installations), refer to approved technical drawings for certification.
4. Purchase Order (PO) Validation:
- Validate material/item requests against the BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and the approved hospital project budget.
- Ensure all requisitions are justified and documented in accordance with internal controls.
5. Voucher Preparation & Payment Processing:
- Prepare and issue payment vouchers daily based on approved wage rates for various job types.
- Ensure each voucher is QR coded, signed, and uploaded to the hospitals UPI-based payment system for real-time processing.
6. Site Movement & Support:
- Travel between hospital facilities and ongoing projects within the city as required for on-site verifications, material inspections, and coordination.
- Ensure timely presence across multiple locations as per project needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in hospital construction/maintenance projects preferred
- Strong documentation, verification, and site coordination skills
- Knowledge of BOQ, PO, and invoice processing
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site management tools
- Familiarity with hospital infrastructure standards and compliance protocols
