Job Description

    Job Title: Training Manager

    Experience: Minimum 4-6 years

    Job Summary: Training Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and performance of employees within a specific circle. This role involves assessing training needs, creating Training materials, conducting training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the training programs.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Training Needs Assessment:
    • Identify training needs through job analysis, appraisals, and regular consultation with HR departments and managers.
    • Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to understand training requirements.
    1. Program Development:
    • Design and develop comprehensive training programs that align with the company's objectives and employees' career paths.
    • Create educational materials such as handouts, presentations, videos, and manuals.
    1. Training Delivery:
    • Conduct engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
    • Utilize clear communication and interactive learning techniques to maintain participant interest.
    • Manage logistical elements of training sessions, including scheduling, venue selection, and distribution of materials.
    1. Evaluation and Feedback:
    • Assess the impact of training programs through evaluations and feedback.
    • Monitor trainee performance and response to training.
    • Provide feedback to program participants and management.
    1. Continuous Improvement:
    • Revise and refine training content based on feedback and changing needs.
    • Stay updated with the latest training methodologies and tools.
    1. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Business, Collections, support functions and other stakeholders to ensure training programs meet organizational goals.
    • Support change champions and provide additional training as needed.

     

    Performance Metrics:

    1. Training Attendance: Track the percentage of employees attending the training sessions.
    2. Engagement Levels: Measure participant engagement through surveys and feedback forms.
    3. Knowledge Retention: Assess knowledge retention through pre- and post-training assessments.
    4. Training Completion Rates: Monitor the percentage of employees who complete the training programs.
    5. Feedback Scores: Collect and analyse feedback scores from participants to gauge training effectiveness.
    6. Performance Improvement: Evaluate improvements in employee performance and productivity post-training.
    7. Application of Skills: Measure the extent to which employees apply the skills learned in their daily tasks.
    8. Return on Investment (ROI): Calculate the ROI of training programs by performance improvements and business outcomes

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors/Masters degree in education, Human Resources, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a trainer or similar role.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in the Banking or Insurance industry.
    • Certification in training and development
    • Knowledge of instructional design
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Proficiency in using training software and tools.
    • Ability to assess training needs and develop effective programs.
