Law Graduate with at least 03 years of relevant experience and 01 year bar enrollment Seek guidance from the Legal department and external legal counsel on litigation matters. Support the external legal counsel with details of the case along with the supporting documents and share the companys legal perspective in order to proceed with the litigation. Check the status of drafts and response to be prepared by the external counsel and report to the Legal departments management accordingly. Share SSGCs viewpoint with the external counsel so that the companys interest is appropriately safeguarded and reflected in legal matters. Take inputs from the Legal departments management and the relevant departments to clarify companys stance. Follow-up with the external counsel prior to hearings to check readiness and appropriateness of the legal response. Attend hearings in courts and federal / provincial ombudsman offices whenever required. Inform the Deputy General Manager - Litigation of the potential legal and litigation risks on a periodic basis. Advise on legal queries and clarifications to the management of the Region. Record and report the progress with respect to litigation to the management on a fortnightly basis. Comply with the risk management framework. Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization. Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner. Receive appropriate training in risk management. Undertake any other task assigned by the superior.,
