Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among Production team.
- Supervising and coordinating the fabrication operations to ensure efficient production of components and products.
- Managing a team of fabricators, welders, machinists, and other production staff to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Planning and organizing workflow, including scheduling, resource allocation, and production priorities, to optimize fabrication processes.
- Monitoring fabrication processes, equipment performance, and product quality to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conducting regular inspections of fabrication activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control measures.
- Training and developing staff on fabrication techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and requirements for fabrication projects.
- Coordinating with procurement and inventory control teams to ensure availability of materials and components for fabrication.
- Maintains good housekeeping and safe working conditions in assigned area. Reports and investigates all incidents in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
Education: B.E. Mechanical/Electrical
Experience: 8 to 10 years
Industry Preference: Experience of manufacturing / heavy fabrication/ automobile Industry is preferred.
