GM ESTIMATION & COSTING JOB DESCRIPTION To Prepare accurate cost estimates according to the BOQ, Tender drawings and submit it to the Management for To take quotes from different suppliers/Vendors for accurate cost estimates Manage & mentor a team of cost Estimators To Co-ordinate with Internal procurement for & QS Team for rates for the better costing To Analyse Cost for different line items with the comparison of quotations from different vendors To Prepare Total cost of Material & Labour & overhead expenses for tender project for Pre Tendering cost estimation Develop and maintain accurate cost models for various construction Analyze project requirements, plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, equipment, and service requirements. Use benchmark data, trends, and historical pricing to generate detailed cost estimates. Implement workflows and systems for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders. Prepare cost estimation for Bid & contract revisions Participate in the administration of bids, inquiry documents, scope of work & schedule related to the job. Create Bills of material & Proposals Identify the areas for improvement in the cost estimation process & Implement solutions Develop & manage project budgets, ensuring project stays within financial constraints Track Actual Cost against estimated costs & identify potential cost variations Propose and implement strategies to mitigate cost overruns Implement work flows and systems for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders
