Pentaho Etl Developer @ Capgemini

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Pentaho Architect to design, implement, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable data architectures, optimizing ETL processes, and ensuring the efficient movement of large volumes of data. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with Pentaho, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data solutions that align with the organizations business goals.
• Design and architect ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) and other related tools to meet data integration needs.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data across various systems, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for scalability, performance, and resource efficiency.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and recovery mechanisms to ensure high-quality data integration.
• Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and developers to understand requirements and ensure proper integration with internal and external data sources.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and system configurations.
• Work alongside stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure the development of ETL solutions that meet business objectives.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate new technologies or tools that improve the ETL process and architecture.
• Assist with the migration of ETL workflows from legacy systems to Pentaho or other modern data platforms.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate the ETL solutions for functionality, performance, and data accuracy.
