 Business Development Manager

Job Description

Developa strategic plan to source and develop business opportunities.
Responsiblefor new business development via prospecting target accounts, qualifyingcustomer needs and closing the business. Own end-to-end sales funnel.
Identify Key Decision Makers in the organization by performingresearch and using prospecting tools.
Cultivaterelationships with executive-level decision-makers and strive to become atrusted advisor and partner.
Leadcustomers through an end-to-end sales cycle in collaboration with MerittoCustomer success team.
Preparationand delivery of Proposal, Product brief, and MoU.
Planningand execution for the acquisition of clients, based on targets set to meetorganizational requirements.
Buildand manage a strong sales funnel to meet the set goals.
Prospect,educate, qualify, and generate interest for sales opportunities, follow up withprospective clients, and should be an expert in closing deals.
CustomerRetention, Training, Up-selling, and Brand Building.
Requirements
Preferred Experience & Attributes:
Have aproven record of success in business-to-business sales.
Experiencein selling Software Products in one or more of the following spaces: CRM, SalesAutomation, Marketing Automation, and Business Process Automation
Experiencein selling software services, IT-based solutions, or technical products.
Always actprofessionally and adopt a solution-orientated approach to sales.
Strongcommunication and people skills. Strong Analytical and Negotiation skills.
In-depthknowledge of the industry and its current events.
The abilityto handle pressure and meet deadlines
Open totravel and conduct events as per business requirements. Able to deliverbusiness & revenue targets.
Ideally hasfield-based sales experience, exceptional candidates with internal salesexperience looking to progress into field sales will be considered.
