Job Description

We are seeking a skilled UI Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a UI Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our user interface (UI). Your primary focus will be on creating robust test scripts, maintaining test suites, and collaborating with developers and quality assurance (QA) team members to identify and address UI issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
2. Execute automated tests to identify defects and ensure the quality of our UI across different platforms and devices.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA engineers, to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
4. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
5. Analyze test results and work closely with developers to investigate and resolve UI-related issues.
6. Identify opportunities to enhance test automation frameworks and improve test efficiency.
7. Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating automated tests.
8. Document test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure traceability and maintainability.
9. Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in UI test automation and share knowledge with the team.
10. Collaborate with other automation engineers to establish coding standards and best practices for UI test automation.
