operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline business operations.
Experience in documenting data governance policy and SOP and act as SME on
policy and governance.
Experience in creating process flow, workflows, flow chart, etc
Ability to lead data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality and
compliance with relevant regulations
Good communication skillsGood to have Certifications in Business Analysis or Data Governance.Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline
business operations.
Experience in documenting policy and SOP and act as SME on policy and
governance.
Identify the need, objective and scope of the policy by liaising with
relevant stakeholders such as subject matter experts and the Governance,
Compliance and Legal team as needed.
Review to see if there are existing documents within Whole of Government or
the Portfolio and consider opportunities for consolidation instead of creating
a new policy; and if a need is identified, prepare a brief to the senior staff
member who will support the policy development (the Sponsor) to obtain approval
to draft.
Draft policy document based on key principles or processes; and submit
draft document to Sponsor for review and approval prior to consultation.
Lead data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality and compliance with
relevant regulations.
Conduct regular reviews of implemented solutions to ensure they meet the
intended objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them
into functional requirements. Train team members on the use of SharePoint and other business tools to
enhance productivity.
Participate in the development of business strategies and plans.
Document all business requirements and processes for future reference.
Participate in the selection and implementation of new business tools and
systems.
Participating in the designing and implementation of solutions or change
interventions
Participating in change management activities which can include tasks such
as timeline planning to stakeholder engagement
Collaborating in change interventions such as training and communication Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of business
processes and systems.
Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transition during
the implementation of new systems or processes.
Ensure all business operations comply with industry standards and
regulations.
Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of business
projects and initiatives.
