ODM Operations Program Manager is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply, cost management, leading process improvements, and monitoring ODM supply chain planning and execution. He/she will work closely with Original Design Manufacturers (ODM) and Arista internal teams to ensure success of ODM products. The ideal candidate will require excellence in leadership, communication, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in partnering with ODMs.
What You ll Do
Develop and implement metrics with the ODMs to ensure accountability and identify performance improvement opportunities.
Communication with critical stakeholders, coordination, and alignment with ODMs to support build plans.
Partner with the ODM, component suppliers and Arista GSM managers on all identified material issues and resolve them by identifying the root cause and managing the corrective or recovery actions.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and product management teams to assess current and future sourcing requirements to develop ODM strategy roadmap aligning business requirements with supplier capabilities.
Develop and implement the RFQ scorecard process for ODM performance assessment in all key areas of cost, delivery performance, technology, and quality for supplier selection.
Oversee Excess and Obsolete (EO) activity from ODMs, recommend critical courses of action to mitigate liability to Arista.
Conduct QBR supplier business reviews to assess supplier capabilities in areas of technology, supply chain, and quality. Obtain feedback from Arista cross functional teams and manage the improvement actions required with the ODMs.
Coordinate all activities with Engineering, NPI, and ODMs to ensure the successful launch of awarded products.
Negotiations and management of all ODM related costs including identification and delivery of opportunities for cost reduction.
Manage ongoing business relationships and facilitate open communication between ODM partners.
Drive initiatives including cost reductions, favorable contract payment terms, and lead time reductions.
Participate on ODM critical projects and program manage them to completion by partnering with internal Arista collaborators and ODM leadership.
Review forecasts and manage monthly/quarterly PO issuance to ODM.
Manage the quarterly costing process with ODM and SKU pricing loading process.
Bachelor s degree, preferably in supply chain, business, operations or engineering required.
10+ years of ODM/Contract Manufacturer management experience in consumer electronics or semiconductor industry with knowledge of manufacturin
