Job Description
Key Skills: Azure, Architect
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design end-to-end Azure cloud solutions, covering IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid architectures.
- Lead and manage on-premises to Azure migration projects, including assessments, roadmap creation, and execution strategy.
- Drive AVS to Azure Native transformation by modernizing workloads and integrating native Azure services.
- Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud governance, security standards, and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and IT leadership to align cloud strategies with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, cloud engineers, and developers.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, services, and best practices for cloud optimization, automation, and performance.
- Develop high-level and low-level architecture documents, presentations, and technical blueprints.
- Oversee and contribute to cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Required & Experience:
- 8+ years of IT experience, with significant expertise in Azure cloud architecture.
- Deep understanding of Azure IaaS & PaaS services, networking, identity, storage, and security frameworks.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale migrations from on-premises or AVS to Azure Native.
- Strong experience in cloud architecture, application modernization, hybrid connectivity, and Azure Landing Zone deployments.
- Proficiency in cloud automation and deployment strategies using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Azure AD, ExpressRoute, and Vets.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience mentoring mid-level and junior technical staff.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- TOGAF or other Enterprise Architecture certifications.
- ITIL/Cloud Governance/Compliance certifications (preferred).
Qualifications: B. Tech in Computer Engineering.
