Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer, Underwriting! We are inviting applications for the role of Process Associate, Underwriting. The positions operate in a dynamic environment and are well suited to those with strong processing skills and a positive, can do attitude. You must also be willing to work in flexible and varying shifts throughout the year. As a part of the team you must react proactively, positively, patiently and effectively to seek clarifications, have a customer centric approach in problem solving. Responsibilities Monitor the centralized mailbox / workflow tool and process submission email requests using the FIFO method. Review submission requests to validate submissions versus referrals, escalating those outside guidelines to underwriting for approval. Update information in all relevant systems and tools Ensure turnaround time and document quality meet company service standards. Ensure allotted tasks are completed within required timelines Provide customer service to underwriters by researching and resolving issues through internal resources. Take ownership of work-in-progress issues, continuously improving processes to enhance team efficiency. Manage personal workload and support team goals to ensure individual and collective success. Monitor and manage queues effectively in the absence of team leads. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a solid understanding of US and Canadian insurance dynamics. Actively participate in training sessions and mentor new team members. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Graduate or postgraduate with strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in written and verbal English communication. Solid understanding of the underwriting lifecycle. Ability to interpret and compile information accurately from various sources and systems. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and customer service orientation. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
