Sr Software Engg Lead- Mainframe @ Aashdit Technologies

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities Solid understanding of software engineering processes: Design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile and dev-ops. Analyze business requirements to develop Data Visualizations & Dashboards for Health Care and Reporting systems. Able to conduct Scrum ceremonies. Provide support for Application Maintenance, New Development support. Resolve production issues by code debugging, analyze logs, perform reverse engineering to find the root cause and suggest permanent fix within SLA (Service Level Agreement). Available for production deployments/troubleshooting during off hours/weekends. Must Have Skills Mainframe DevOps Engineer. 7 years of experience with Mainframe Technologies (JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM). 7 years of experience with DB Any RDBMS DB2, No SQL. 6 years of experience with production operational support Service Incident Triaging, Batch Monitoring. 4 years with Performance techniques, Tuning requests. 3 Years with DevOps Tools & techniques. Strong experience of operating in a quickly changing environment and driving technological innovation to meet business requirement. Proven track record of building relationships across cross-functional teams. Excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills. Experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban principles. Manage code migration through the various stages for the release. Flexible to work in different shifts and ability to take the on-call responsibility in rotation. Nice to have: Exposure to Cloud. Exposure to Data Engineering. Experience in the healthcare industry. Ability to establish repeatable processes, best practices and implement version control software, automated testing and deployment. Experience with Rally/Agile tools.
