Job Description

You have an exciting opportunity to advance your software engineering career as a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Finance Technology division aligned with Corporate Technology. In this role, you will be a key member of an agile team, focused on designing and delivering innovative technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner to support the firm's business objectives. Your responsibilities will include executing software solutions, designing and developing technical solutions, creating secure production code, maintaining algorithms, producing architecture and design artifacts, analyzing and synthesizing data sets, and driving improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture. You will also contribute to software engineering communities, promote diversity and inclusion, and explore new technologies. To qualify for this role, you should have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of practical experience. You should be a hands-on full stack developer with strong UI/UX skills, experienced in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Python, Pyspark, ReactJS, SQL, PL/SQL, Kubernetes, AWS, and workflow tools is required. Experience in developing code in a corporate environment, knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, and technical processes within a technical discipline are essential. Additionally, familiarity with modern technologies, AI tools, workflow tools, exposure to cloud technologies, and awareness of SRE capabilities are advantageous.
