Data Engineer @ Sequantix

Job Description

Experience:

5- 6 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.

Hands-on experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and integrating data from various sources.

Exposure to data modeling, transformation, and performance optimization.

Experience working with relational databases like SQL Server or Azure SQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.

Practical experience with ETL processes and tools.

Skills:

Understanding of data architecture concepts such as data lakes, data warehouses, and batch/real-time data processing.

Experience with tools like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent for ETL development.

Proficiency in writing SQL queries and basic scripting (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation tasks.

Exposure to Power BI or other visualization tools is an advantage.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and cloud storage solutions.

Awareness of data privacy, governance, and security best practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Good communication skills for working with team members and understanding business requirements.
