Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Conversion of leads received through various marketing channels.
  • Approach based Marketing, preparing short-term and long-term sales plan towards reaching the assigned goals.
  • Consistently achieve revenue targets in line with team/organizational objectives.
  • Proactively identifying cross-selling/up-selling opportunities with existing customers.
  • Identifying references through the existing customer base to increase the sales pipeline.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • New customer development.
  • Managing pre-sales to post-sales support activities for the assigned project work.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • To understand customer requirements in the geography assigned and facilitate products /service-related activities based on customer feedback.
  • Lead Sales Team, achieve targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
  • Manage Customer relationships, drive growth
  • Oversee operation, optimize efficiency

Preferred candidate profile:


Educational Background

  • A graduate or post-graduate degree in engineering (B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech) in a relevant technical field preferred
  • A business management degree (MBA/PGDM) is often preferred for a stronger understanding of sales and marketing

Experience & Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development within the solar industry.
  • Strong presentation skills and a deep understanding of the solar business.
  • Knowledge of solar PV module certification, production, and testing.
  • Ability to track tenders and execute bidding strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to customer profile

Leadership & Strategy

  • Experience in coordinating with team members and aligning sales processes.
  • Ability to design pricing strategies after analyzing market factors.
  • Strong team player with leadership qualities
