Job Description
- Active Directory Management: Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, handling user and group management, security permissions, and troubleshooting directory-related issues.
- Sophos Endpoint Security: Configure, deploy, and manage Sophos endpoint security solutions to safeguard systems and data from threats.
- Asset Management: Oversee IT asset tracking, monitoring, and maintenance, and develop asset management procedures.
- Firewall Configuration: Assist in configuring and managing firewalls to ensure network security and optimize performance in collaboration with network administrators.
- Employee Support: Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, resolve end-user queries, and respond to IT support tickets. Escalate complex problems as needed.
- Documentation & SOPs: Create and update documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT processes and configurations.
Requirements:
- 1 to 4 years of experience in IT support or related roles, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration (user/group management, security permissions, troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with Sophos endpoint security solutions (deployment and management).
- Experience in asset management (inventory tracking and maintenance).
- Proficiency in firewall & VPN configurations and knowledge of network security principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and SOPs.
Additional Information:
- This is a work from office role and candidates from Hyderabad are preferred.
