 IT Product Sales Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Product Sales Specialist to drive enterprise software sales in the EMEA region (Base in Chennai). The ideal candidate will have 6 - 8 years of experience in enterprise software sales, a proven track record of exceeding targets, and expertise in managing complex sales cycles with C-level executives. This role demands a combination of technical acumen, consultative selling skills, and familiarity with the enterprise software landscape.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy Development


Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting enterprise clients across the EMEA region.


Client Acquisition & Relationship Management


Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective clients while maintaining strong ties with existing accounts.


Full Sales Cycle Management


Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, product demonstrations, proposals, contract negotiations, and deal closure.


Product Demonstrations


Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of the software solutions tailored to client needs.


Market Research & Analysis


Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer pain points to identify opportunities for growth.


Collaboration with Internal Teams


Work closely with marketing, technical support, and R&D teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and deliver value.


Revenue Generation


Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while contributing to overall company revenue goals.


Travel & Client Engagements


Travel across the EMEA region as needed for client meetings and industry events (approximately 3050%).

Qualifications


  • Experience: 68 years in IT/software sales with a focus on enterprise solutions.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of enterprise software products and services.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to close high-value deals with C-suite executives.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • CRM Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms for tracking sales activities.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as the need arises.

Preferred Skills


  • Consultative selling approach tailored to enterprise clients.
  • Ability to navigate complex decision-making processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with IT security solutions or cloud-based services is a plus.
