About this Role

The Process Architect will provide a step change to extend and complete strategic programmes covering Enterprise Mobility, Unified Communication, Fixed Connectivity, Cloud & Security propositions to deliver an end-to-end customer experience lifecycle aligned with Vodafone Brand and industry best practices. The key focus will be to architect, design, build, assure cost-to-serve standards, and implement service operating patterns and models based on continuous improvement and right sourcing at a worldwide level.


Who are you

The role requires expert collaboration with senior cross-functional stakeholders and architects to develop strong relationships across portfolios, which is needed to execute customer experience (CX) and solution analysis to prescribe effective start-up and design prescriptions for complex propositions into agile project teams. Experience in customer experience design, complex business change and transformations, and customer journey definitions is essential to develop high-quality and strategically aligned market and business acceptable service solutions.


What you will do

  • Responsible for qualification, feasibility, assessment, and context models for complex and strategic demands (SPARK).
  • Design authority for the quality and measurement of design outputs and outcomes driven by CX, repeatable product interpretability, and compliance with architectural standards and principles (such as Design First, CX, EOM, Digital Telco).
  • Provide overall operational SME support across all portfolios (product agnostic).
  • Work with the transformation team to identify and plan improvement opportunities.
  • Be informed of any organisation changes that impact flows in that domain and inform the team about it.
  • Keep track of any changes to the IT strategic stack and share with the team when needed.
  • Identify design improvement opportunities for that domain.
  • Identify systemic issues cross-portfolio, domain-specific.
  • Interpret commercial product and customer/business requirements into a diagnosed set of target design patterns.
  • Act as a trusted consultant/advisor to business stakeholders to understand and establish current and future business needs and baseline design conditions and acceptance.
  • Produce and validate context/concept design, impact, and risk assessment as an input to business case epic creation and delivery pipelines/roadmap planning.
  • Produce prescribed handover to solution train designers and primes to inform lower-level design formation.

What skills you need

  • Strong Service Design background.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and consultancy skills.
  • Ability to facilitate Gov Board.
  • Drive Blueprint adoption/DIAD/ and communication within BE.
  • Alignment with VBTS Product interlock process.
  • IT and Customer Operations experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to identify areas of inefficiencies in current working models and define and articulate improvements.
  • Ability to communicate complex messages in a simple way in a multicultural environment at both management and working levels.

Must have technical/professional qualifications

  • University degree, with a preference for technology (engineering, telecommunications, computer science).
  • 11+ years of experience in managing major customer services or operational services organisations within Telecoms.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications industry with a strong focus on business services and applications delivery.
