Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS.
  • Provide operational support for Windows and Linux-based systems.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using industry-standard tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AWS related issues in a timely manner.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripts and configuration management tools.
  • Administer and optimize MS SQL databases, including backups, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and configure web servers, including IIS and Apache.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps , and security teams to enhance cloud infrastructure.
  • Maintain and improve incident response and on-call support processes.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to ensure high system availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in CloudOps or DevOps roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and patch management.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL database management, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with IIS and Apache web servers, including configuration and maintenance.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security best practices.
  • Experience handling on-call support and incident management processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to document processes and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
  • Experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
