Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Requirements & Contamination Control: Collaborate with customers to understand their specific contamination control needs and ensure these requirements are incorporated into the process and equipment design.
  • Design Phase Integration: Partner with engineering and design teams to integrate effective contamination control solutions during the early stages of equipment and process design.
  • Contamination Source Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential contamination sources within the manufacturing environment (e.g., airborne particles, chemical contaminants, equipment surfaces) and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement contamination control measures that reduce the risk of contamination while optimizing production processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Contamination Control Solutions: Develop solutions for cleanroom environments, air filtration systems, equipment sanitization, and contamination prevention techniques tailored to Li-Ion battery production.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and other departments to ensure contamination control strategies align with overall manufacturing goals and quality standards.
  • Monitoring & Auditing: Implement systems to monitor contamination levels throughout production and regularly audit contamination control measures to ensure ongoing effectiveness and compliance.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to the production, engineering, and maintenance teams on contamination control practices,equipment cleanliness, and effective contamination mitigation methods.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all contamination control processes and systems comply with industry regulations and customer-specific requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contamination control measures by researching new technologies, materials, and methods.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Education: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field. Advanced certifications in contamination control or process management are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in process and equipment contamination management within Li-Ion Battery Manufacturing or a similar high-precision, regulated manufacturing environment.
    • Proven experience in implementing contamination control strategies, conducting audits, and addressing contamination-related challenges in the production environment.
