Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow relationships with key HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering) clients in the assigned region for our spice portfolio. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, improving client retention, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and distributors to drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key HORECA clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, purchase heads, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular meetings, resolve queries, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Sales & Order Execution:

  • Achieve sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, and new product recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate order processing and timely deliveries in coordination with logistics and supply chain.
  • Handle issues related to delivery, product quality, or client complaints.

Reporting & Planning:

  • Track weekly/monthly sales performance against targets.
  • Conduct business review meetings and share structured feedback with stakeholders.
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory to avoid stockouts or overages.

Market Intelligence & Strategy:

  • Monitor competitor activity and regional HORECA trends.
  • Support pricing and promotional strategies based on market insights.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns or loyalty programs.

Desired Profile:

  • Graduate in Business, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Key Account Management within HORECA, FMCG, or Spices
  • Strong understanding of regional HORECA dynamics and supply chain processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and sales analytics
