Job Description:
As a Lead- HR Ops, you will oversee and manage end-to-end HR operational activities across the organization, ensuring the delivery of efficient, compliant, and high-quality HR services. Based in India, you will collaborate with regional HR teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive operational excellence and enhance the employee experience across locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Employee life cycle management
- Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including managing the HRIS Tool and audits for accuracy and compliance
- Develop and implement standardized processes for employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle changes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Manage employment documentation, including offer letters, contracts, and exit formalities.
- Manage analytics and reporting to senior leadership
HR Systems Management and Governance:
- Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of HRIS to ensure seamless HR operations.
- Maintain accurate employee data to support organizational decision-making.
- Manage critical projects and workflows on the HRIS tool by automation viz Performance management, Rewards and Recognition etc.
Payroll and Compliance:
- Lead and manage payroll processes for all global locations, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
HR Policy Implementation and Compliance:
- Stay updated on local labor laws for our global offices and regulations to ensure HR policies are compliant and current.
- Act as a point of contact for audits and other compliance-related activities.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and implement automation solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee experience across HR touchpoints.
Employee Relations Support:
- Address employee queries and grievances related to HR operations in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR operations, with expertise in payroll, compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of India-specific labour laws, statutory compliances, and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in tools such as MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
