Network Engineer @ Lion And Elephants

Job Description

We are looking for an SD-WAN L3 & above Engineer to support a migration project involving the latest Viptela SD-WAN solutions and Cisco 9K series switches. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SD-WAN deployments, network migrations, and Cisco networking technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead and support the migration of Viptela SD-WAN to the latest VEDGE versions.
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco 9K series switches for seamless network integration.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition with minimal downtime.
Perform pre- and post-migration validation to ensure network stability and performance.
Document configurations, migration steps, and best practices for future reference.


Requirements:

5+ years of experience in SD-WAN deployment and network migration.
Hands-on expertise with Viptela SD-WAN (latest VEDGE versions).
Strong knowledge of Cisco 9K series switches, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security.
Experience in network troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Certifications like CCNP, SD-WAN Specialist, or equivalent are preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with stakeholders.
