Job Description

Senior Sales Development Representative - India (IT Sales Experience Required)

Location: Bangalore, HSR Layout
Work Mode: Office-based (Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
Reports To: Chief Strategy Officer

Objective

Generate qualified leads, build a strong pipeline, and achieve revenue targets for the India market.

Experience & Education

  • Experience: 2-4 years in inside sales, specifically in IT software sales targeting India markets.
  • Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate (Engineering background with Marketing/Sales post-graduation is a plus).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly qualified leads and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities for IT software products in the India market.
  • Build and maintain a robust qualified lead pipeline.
  • Convert hot/warm leads into business meetings for Business Development Directors.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and position suitable products to address business challenges.
  • Stay updated on the competitive landscape and market intelligence.
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain and enhance sales effectiveness across the cycle.
  • Create and manage a client database.
  • Proven ability to handle product sales valued at 25 Lakhs+ for the Indian market and $100K+ for the US market.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in achieving or exceeding qualified lead targets.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to convert leads into business opportunities.
  • Effective communication and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions to decision-makers like CIOs.
  • Experience with medium and large enterprises is an added advantage.
  • Process-driven with strong sales discipline and the ability to work independently.
  • High professional and personal integrity.
