Job Description

Role Overview

As an Engineer / Senior Engineer Electrical (Fit-Out), you will be responsible for the on-site execution of electrical works in high-end interior fit-out and commercial building projects. You will ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with the project team, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and report the installation progress to the Senior Engineer / Project Manager.

• Ensure execution of electrical installations as per the defined processes and safety protocols.

• Coordinate with the storekeeper to confirm material availability; highlight shortages proactively.

• Report shortfalls in manpower or materials to ensure uninterrupted progress.

• Allocate and supervise daily workforce activities to achieve optimum output.

• Coordinate with co-contractors and other agencies for smooth work execution.

• Escalate any site dependencies that may impact schedule to the Senior Engineer promptly.

• Ensure quality execution and compliance with project timelines and safety standards.

• Address and close all snags raised by PMC/Consultant/Client with proper documentation.

• Assist in the preparation of Work Completion Reports (WCR) and measurement sheets.

• Record changes on shop drawings and share mark-ups for as-built documentation.

• Maintain and update quality checklists, installation logs, and commissioning reports.

• Prepare Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and get approvals from PMC/Client.

• Conduct mock-ups before commencing activities and secure client approvals.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance in material receipt, stacking, and tool usage (in collaboration with Store In-Charge).

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Strong work ethic with a disciplined and proactive approach.

• Fast learner with a flexible attitude toward work requirements.

• Basic communication skills in English (written and verbal).
