Quality Assurance Test Engineer @ Hinduja Tech

Job Description

Shift timings : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Transportation Facility: Cab facilities will be provided for only one way timing 11:00 PM

(For 2:00PM cab will not be provided)

Mode of Interview: Face to Face - Chennai

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 35 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, particularly in web applications
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive web design
• Proficiency in testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, SDLC, and STLC
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
• Hands on Experience in SQL for database validation
• Strong knowledge with API testing tools like (Postman or Swagger)
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium (a plus)
• Experience with cross-browser and device compatibility testing
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications
• Perform functional, UI, regression, and cross-browser testing to ensure product quality
• Log and track defects using defect management tools like JIRA, and ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and identify potential issues early
• Execute exploratory and ad-hoc testing to discover edge cases and unforeseen issues
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, providing detailed feedback and status updates
• Participate in sprint meetings, test estimations, and retrospectives in an Agile environment
• Conduct post-deployment and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate releases
