Role & responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF

JOB


Develop and implementing strategies to ensure accurate revenue recognition and minimize revenue leakage.

JOB

RESPONSIBLITIES


Leadership and Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to enhance revenue collection, reduce leakage, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for the Proprietary Channels, encompassing Agency, Direct Distribution, IM, Partner Office, Bancassurance and CAB.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze revenue data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Use data analytics/ predictive analytics to forecast revenue and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead with data specific models for collections across different persistency buckets., with geography specific actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance, underwriting, and operations teams to align processes and improve revenue management.

Collaborate with IT to enhance systems that support revenue assurance efforts.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and mitigate risks related to revenue leakage through process evaluations. Develop and implement best practices for revenue assurance processes.
  • Risk Management: Performing risk assessments and investigations to proactively address potential revenue-related issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies related to revenue recognition. Monitor changes in regulations and update practices accordingly.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management on revenue assurance metrics and initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive strategic improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the revenue assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Provide training and support to staff on revenue assurance practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Post Graduate from a premium institute

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:


  • 15 years experience in life insurance domain with a strong delivery performance in the renewals and persistency area.
  • Leadership and team management
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Proficient in financial reporting software and data analytics tools Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset
