Role

• Develop cutting edge native Android video streaming apps for TV and Mobile devices
• Responsible for the technical design and development of advanced video streaming consumer applications with multiple backend integrations
• Deliver app solutions across the entire app life cycle prototype to build to test to launch to support
• Build slick UIUX interfaces with focus on usability features and pixel perfect implementation.
• Optimise performance and stability as well as non functional aspects such as logging
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and Device / OS / IDE updates

Experience Required

• Up to date Knowledge of Android development tools and device platforms
• Experience in Kotlin, MVVM Architecture, Dependency Injection strongly preferred
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in using source control management
• Experience to Agile, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development
• Experience of at least two of the following : creating custom UI controls, high performing API integrations, advanced state management, cross device support or performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and industry standard SDK integrations preferred
