Department: Procurement/Supply Chain Management
Location: Benguluru , Karnataka

Job Summary:

The Senior Executive Procurement will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient sourcing, negotiation, and management of goods and services for the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain optimization, contributing to cost-effectiveness, quality assurance, and timely delivery to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing and Procurement:
    • Identify and source quality suppliers and vendors.
    • Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
    • Manage procurement activities to ensure cost optimization while maintaining product quality and delivery timelines.
  2. Vendor Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
    • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
    • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  3. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:
    • Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Address supply chain disruptions and mitigate risks.
    • Ensure timely delivery of goods to support business needs.
  4. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Prepare purchase orders, agreements, and other procurement-related documents.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
    • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
  5. Cost Management:
    • Analyze procurement spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Develop strategies to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, and logistics to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
    • Address and resolve any procurement-related issues.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1-4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and sourcing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, regulations, and compliance.
