Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Trade Activation Manager to join our Central S&OP Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to drive growth in the paid dealer base for used-car business, through the following:

  • Increase in retention and timely renewals of dealer subscription packages
  • Targeting and re-acquisition of lost dealers
  • Identification and acquisition of new dealers

The role ensures seamless coordination between category, sales and operations, and BI team to conceptualize, implement and review the following:

  • Understanding of dealer segments and their needs and requirements
  • design and implementation of dealer packages - including pricing and features
  • Review adoption and renewal of packages by market and dealer segment
  • Understand reasons for poor adoption on a monthly basis, by market, by segment
  • Planning and implementation of trade activation schemes to drive better adoption

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement channel management strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  • Plan and execute channel promotions to Olx packages as below
    • increase penetration in targeted categories
    • Increase penetration in pre-identified dealer cohorts, by category
    • Upgrade package ASPU / Tenure
    • Promote new products
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop consumer / dealer insights through meeting dealers on a regular basis to understand their key challenges
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand business problems, opportunities on a regular basis
  • Track and report on the performance of channel management programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage the budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and ROI optimization.

What we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a channel management role, a focus on dealers in the general trade environment.
  • Must have handled large budgets
  • Ability to deal with cross functional teams, esp finance, sales operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail environments and dealer behavior, across regions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software/tools.
