- Role Overview: The Head of Battery Analytics Software Development leads the strategy, design, and implementation of advanced analytics platforms for monitoring, optimizing, and predicting battery performance across various applications (EVs, energy storage, battery swapping, etc.). This role combines battery science, AI-driven analytics, and cloud-based software development to enhance battery efficiency, lifecycle management, and predictive maintenance. Key Responsibilities 1. Software Development & Architecture Oversee the design and development of battery analytics platforms, integrating AI, ML, and IoT. Lead software teams in building real-time monitoring and predictive analytics solutions. Ensure scalability, security, and interoperability with energy management systems (EMS) and battery management systems (BMS). 2. Battery Performance Analytics & Optimization Develop data-driven models for state-of-charge (SoC), state-of-health (SoH), degradation prediction, and anomaly detection. Implement digital twin models for real-time battery performance simulation. Enhance thermal management and energy efficiency through AI-driven insights. 3. Integration with Battery & Energy Systems Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software solutions with Battery Management Systems (BMS). Enable Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Grid-to-Battery (G2B) analytics for smart energy distribution. Ensure compliance with battery safety and regulatory standards (ISO 26262, UL 1973, IEC 62660, etc.). 4. AI & Machine Learning for Predictive Analytics Develop AI/ML algorithms for battery degradation forecasting and anomaly detection. Utilize Big Data processing for large-scale fleet analytics in EVs, battery swapping, and grid storage. Enable fleet-wide battery lifecycle management for electric mobility operators. 5. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead software engineers, data scientists, and battery researchers in product development. Work with OEMs, fleet operators, and energy companies to integrate analytics solutions. Drive partnerships with AI and cloud computing providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Key Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Battery Technology. 10+ years in software development, battery analytics, or AI for energy storage. Experience with cloud-based platforms, IoT, and machine learning models. Technical & Business Skills Expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), EV energy storage, and AI/ML algorithms. Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MATLAB, SQL, and cloud platforms. Strong understanding of battery chemistry, degradation models, and thermal dynamics. Experience in leading tech teams, managing stakeholders, and developing scalable SaaS solutions.,
