Job Description
Role & responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end procurement for all UK-based OYO properties, covering CapEx and OpEx categories (FF&E, OS&E, renovation works, cleaning, maintenance, etc.).
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with local market conditions and global company objectives.
- Build and manage a reliable supplier base, ensuring competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.
- Work closely with design, operations, transformation, and finance teams to plan and execute procurement for hotel onboarding and refurbishment.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and contract management.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with UK procurement laws, company policies, and ESG targets.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, dashboards, and cost tracking reports.
- Oversee vendor risk assessments and sustainability checks.
- Identify opportunities to digitize and automate procurement processes.
Preferred candidate profile :
- 5+ years experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in hospitality, real estate, or retail sectors.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of UK supplier landscape for hospitality-related goods and services.
- Proficient with procurement software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Coupa) is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
