3. Oversee design aspects such as schematics, layouts, and components, including cells, wiring harnesses, busbars, and connectors.
4. Perform the simulation and validation of the energy storage system architecture.
5. Partner with suppliers, manufacturing, and quality teams for effective implementation.
6. Design and optimize circuits for battery management and safety, with current and voltage monitoring, thermal management, and fault detection capabilities.
7. Develop and execute test plans, validation protocols, and functional testing for electrical systems.
8. Coordinate with R&D to ensure milestone alignment with company objectives.
9. Oversee system integration, ensuring compatibility with subsystems.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL).
11. Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and battery pack architecture.
12. Proficient in tools such as SPICE, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium Designer, OrCAD.
13. Experienced in selecting and integrating electrical components with BMS and thermal systems.
