Job Summary:
The Vertical Head Sales is responsible for developing and driving strategic sales initiatives within a defined vertical or distribution channel in the life insurance sector. This role entails leading a high-performing sales team, optimizing channel productivity, and achieving top-line revenue growth while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
o Develop and implement vertical-specific sales strategies to meet business objectives.
o Identify growth opportunities across geographies and customer segments.
o Drive innovation in product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Revenue & Business Development:
o Achieve targeted sales numbers and persistency goals for the vertical.
o Monitor and analyze performance metrics to improve sales effectiveness.
o Collaborate with product, marketing, and actuarial teams to launch and promote offerings.
Team Management:
o Build, mentor, and lead regional/state-level sales teams under the vertical.
o Drive performance through goal-setting, reviews, and capability development.
o Foster a culture of high performance, integrity, and customer focus.
Customer Focus & Relationship Building:
o Ensure superior customer experience through service delivery oversight.
o Engage with key clients and stakeholders to build long-term relationships.
Analytics & Reporting:
o Provide timely business insights to senior leadership using sales and market data.
o Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management
