The Campaign Developer is responsible for end-to-end technical coding for email campaigns (inclusive of HTML conversion, platform integration, quality assurance, editing, testing, and deployment). This role ensures consistency with brand elements and deliverers a flexible email framework to enable dynamic content.
Responsibilities:
Solid knowledge of email platform(s)
Hand-code HTML files optimized for email
Responsive and fluid conversion of Photoshop documents to HTML optimized for email
Act as content creation expert for clients and account team(s)
Execute simple image editing on provided PSDs
Work with pre-existing or client-provided HTML files and make suggestions/updates for coding improvements to enhance the rendering across a wide-range of email clients (Outlook, Gmail, mobile apps, etc) as needed
Integrate email content into email platform(s) for campaign deployment, including CAN-SPAM requirements
Coordinate with account team and clients to fulfill email content creation and change requests
Consult and troubleshoot on HTML/text mailings, dynamic content personalization, and URL issues
Conduct content quality assurance checks to ensure the mailing meets client expectations
Recognize opportunities for coding efficiencies (ie templates/wireframes)
Integrate 3rd party solutions into email content (Liveclicker, LiveIntent, Movable Ink, etc)
Maintain role related and project-specific internal reference documentation
Create and modify static landing pages as needed
Perform code & creative reviews to optimize emails
Follow code & QA best practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree ( BTECH ) OR Masters ( MBA )
1 - 4 years of email or web development experience
Advanced knowledge of HTML / CSS for email
Intermediate knowledge of responsive & fluid code optimized for email
Basic knowledge of XML
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated communication skills
