Job Description
Job Title:.NET Azure Lead
Location: Trivandrum
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop backend applications using .NET technologies, including full development lifecycle and post-live support.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements, providing technical solutions and estimations.
- Work with Agile methodologies, participating in iterative delivery and daily stand-ups.
- Contribute to pipeline design and enhancements, ensuring a smooth release cadence.
- Ensure high-quality code through rigorous unit and integration testing.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in .NET development, including full development lifecycle and post-live support.
- Agile Delivery: Extensive experience in delivering software using Agile methodologies. Familiarity with JIRA is preferred.
- Technical Understanding: Strong ability to understand requirement/story scope and translate that into technical solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to articulate complex technical issues and solutions in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Backend Development: Extensive experience with .NET backend API development.
- CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: Significant experience in pipeline design, build, and enhancement. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (preferably Terraform).
- Unit & Integration Testing: Excellent understanding of unit and integration testing techniques.
- Cloud Technologies: Strong knowledge of Azure services (Web/Container Apps, Azure Functions, SQL Server).
- Containers: Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Version Control: Proficient in using source control systems (preferably Git).
- API Design: Solid understanding of RESTful services, JSON, and API design.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Broad knowledge of Cloud infrastructure (PaaS, DBaaS).
- Mentorship: Experience in mentoring and coaching engineers in a co-located environment.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- UI Frameworks: Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks, ideally Vue.js.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA and experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
